I just thought of the perfect torture method Niffty could use on Ipad Vox
Stitching his mouth into a smile just like Alastor's
If anyone can put stitches on an IPad, it’s definitely gonna be Niffty 🤣
ALSO have a younger non pokemon Faun
i love how the entire mh fandom collectively decided "jessica could take alex in a fight and win"
That's Because She Could
Oh the loneliness that comes with being dysphoric is creeping in.
Do the Bennett’s ever just say “I fucked up. I’m sorry. I won’t do it again.” ??
I read Wolfsong awhile back so Joe may have done it but I don’t remember him just saying “I’m sorry.” Mark either. I’m reading Ravensong right now and overall I love it, but I’m starting to get really upset because Mark reminds me of some really unhealthy people in my life everytime Mark talks about the Bennett’s leaving Gordo behind.
Like, I know it’s not supposed to be manipulative, but it’s starting to upset me how, everytime they talk about it, Mark’s arguement is just “It was a really shitty decision and I wish we hadn’t made it, but hey it was really really hard for us too, okay? And hey- we love you.”
That’s just such a manipulative bullshit arguement and it’s starting to upset me because it’s looking like maybe these books will treat it as a valid one. Gordo and Ox should not have to forgive anyone because “my bad decision was really hard on me too you know, and also I love you.” Like, no? I love these books but that’s literally textbook abuser dialogue. Mark and Elizabeth especially keep making this arguement like Gordo is in the wrong for not forgiving them yet, when they’ve done literally nothing to reassure him they changed. Hell, they can claim they know better but neither one of them bothered to put their foot down and insist Joe bring Ox into the conversation when he first started talking about leaving Ox behind. Like they didn’t realize they could have avoided it being a betrayal if they’d just included Gordo in the conversation earlier instead of making the decision without him.
Look, I’ve loved these books so far, but I’m really getting upset with the Bennett’s acting like Gordo’s the problem for not forgiving them. Like “wow our lives could be so nice and happy Gordo if you would just stop being stubborn and forgive Mark already.” I’m just really upset with it being framed like Gordo is just being stubborn, when Mark hasn’t even acknowledged the damage they did to Gordo.
Can someone just tell me if Mark EVER says ANYTHING like “You didn’t deserve to be treated that way.” “You deserve to be treated far better than the way we treated you.” “I’m sorry you went through all that. And I’m sorry it was because of us.” “I promise I won’t agree to make major decisions about your life without your consent again.” “I understand if you can’t forgive me.” “I promise to be there for you in whatever capacity you’re willing to have me.”
Honestly, at this point I’d even just like to
see the actual words “I’m sorry.”
