im supposed to be in saving money mode and ive been doing really good but my semester is officially over and i want to treat myself to a pair of new jeans

i never really cared about things like "futures" or "desires" before.

I was in the room while someone (you know who you are) was playing Your Idol for the zillionth time, and I noticed something oddly *structured* about the chanting at the beginning-- which, previously, I had assumed was either formless "aaaaaah, aaaahhh, aaaaahhhh"s, or something in Korean. This, though, almost sounded like Latin--

So I go look up the lyrics and realize that the chanting is a modified sort of Dies Irae, layered over what I assume is the crowd (choir?) singing/chanting "pray for me now."

#it just adds to the whole theme/atmosphere of that scene #and--#asdfjkl;#HOW did the people who made this not know just how close of a parallel they were drawing #and just how few inches short they fell from the truth?#KPDH #music
