@ anon who just sent me the ask that ends in a sad face, I’m not publishing because I just don’t wanna spread even more negativity than is already going around in fandom at the moment, but you feel your feelings however you need to. I 100% disagree and interpret what’s happening on the show differently than you and that’s fine, but I trust this show and will continue to trust them until they give me some reason not to.

and, you know, if the show ever gets too intense for you it’s okay if you need to step back and not watch until the season is over, or come back whenever you’re feeling more able to handle it, or watch having been spoiled to take some of the edge off. genre tv thrives on tension and pain and this season is putting us through the wringer AS IT SHOULD BE. but just remember to take care of your heart and your mental health above all else, because that is certainly more important than a tv show, even one that means as much to us as this one. <3
