Imagine being the sole survivor of a tragedy where you made the call that killed your entire team and your ahem close friend helps you overcome the trauma and emerge with a new will to live and fight and when the chance comes in the form of taking a colony ship to Tau Centi f you jump at it just for an alien lifeform to overtake and crash the ship, dooming the crew including your close college friend who’s only on the mission because you formally recommended her for the open position and you’re going to have to make more decisions that will inevitably get this team killed too AND YOU’RE 27-YEARS-OLD
