Aragorn:        What is your heritage? Do you embrace or reject it?

omg...I used to be one of those really annoying “I’m X% this, Y% that, Z% some etc etc” but then i realized that it doesn’t matter. It doesn’t affect my life in any way. I’m white. I am several shades of white. I do embrace the heritages that I am most (German, Sicilian, English) just because they are the “important” ones to me. My last name is German so...that’s a given.. But my Sicilian and English are important to me because of how close they are. My grandparents immigrated so I am the second generation born here and that just seems special.

Boromir:        Did your father leave an impact on your life?    

My father is still a huge impact on my life. He is the reason I love science so much. I feel like, when I declared as a history major, I was letting him down. He always told me I would be the first woman on Mars. We share science books and watch documentaries together still but I know it was really hard on him when I said I couldn’t be a chemical engineer any more. But he has always instilled in me a love for science and a curiosity for the world. He taught me about the stars, and plants, and how a car works. I love my dad.

morrigan is a lesbian like straightup her mom brainwashed her with expectations of heterosexuality but nah morrigan loves the ladies she’ll figure it out eventually

justice and anders aren’t actually the same being, the way anders talks about him makes me think justice has a separate consciousness still—they just have a lot of overlapping thoughts and feelings that can make an already bad headspace even more difficult to deal with. ALSO eventually they learn to comfortably coexist and are happy and perfectly ok!!!!!

amell and surana were at the circle simultaneously and were girlfriends, but it took them forever to figure it out due to the nature of the circle making committed romantic relationships impossible. until that point amell slept around and could personally attest to anders’ electricity trick. surana was lowkey jealous and amell really wanted her to admit it but she just called it Friendly Concern. cullen had a crush on amell and surana thought he was sort of dashing but amell hates all templars everywhere and forever and would have personally burned down the entire circle if it weren’t for surana. amell doesnt really remember her parents and doesn’t want to—as far as she’s concerned they failed as parents when they allowed the templars to take her—but surana has parents in the alienage and writes to them when she can. surana’s parents were good friend with cyrion and adaia, she might even be a distant cousin to tabris.

surana’s influence is probably the only thing keeping amell from being made tranquil or killed. surana is kind, good-natured, doesn’t like making trouble, and is frighteningly accomplished at entropy magic. amell is a dabbler, she’s tried every kind of magic, including blood magic, and doesn’t see anything wrong with it, or demon-summoning, or even the tevinter imperium’s magocracy really. however she is completely all-bark and no-bite, she would never do anything that would endanger surana. this is why she never tried to escape, she just high-fives anders on his way out and on his way back in, being dragged back by templars. amell only stops being such an asshole cocky mage when returning to the circle and discovering that almost everyone they knew is dead. she’s shaken, but surana is completely wrecked. surana begs amell never to take a risk like that, to never cause harm like that. amell promises. she’s more subdued after that. eventually she becomes an accomplished battlemage/arcane warrior and calls it quits on the blood magic.

cousland and alistair spend the entire journey playing hot-potato with the leadership conch, making bad puns at each other, wearing ridiculously oversized armor and trying Real Hard to be Good and Compassionate. but they were never romantic. sometimes cousland thinks they were fated to love each other, but alistair was just such a nice boy—nothing like that antivan elf who made her blush with every word. when cousland killed rendon howe she found no peace. she felt sick and empty. revenge was never for her, and killing him would not bring her family back. she was tired of death and tired of killing. she fought loghain and spared him. alistair’s reaction was the worst betrayal she has ever felt and they are never able to even be civil to each other again.

tabris had a crush on morrigan and was always too intimidated to make her intentions clear. morrigan had -3 social skils and no context for lesbianing and never had the slightest idea. the feelings eventually fizzled in disappointment.
