Well, I actually asked my dentist about oil pulling before I started doing this and he told me it's great alternative since coconut oil contains lauric acid which is proven to be antibacterial :3 I am really happy about the result so I don't think it's complete bullshit. But you know, whatever works for you :)

Coconut oil is super good for you, that I know. But the effects oil pulling has comes from swishing a liquid in your mouth for so long. Technically you could use water and get the same result but w/e. I’ve always been wary of things that use the words ‘detox’ or ‘get rid of toxins’ bc usually it’s just crap (esp liver detox, ugh, even my parents believed it). 

I just realized that I might’ve sounded a bit rude in the previous post (which I’m sorry about), but I’m gonna bring it up with my dentist on Tuesday bc I’m rly tired of having shit teeth.
