one of the little things that is occuring to me during the rewatch is the whole andi and kleo dynamic like... there's a lot to unpack to begin with about a uniformed officer having a secret sexual relationship with his younger female inferior who he actively commands in the field, but that adds something to the way that kleo tells him she's probably about three months pregnant and then she just... gets wiped off the face of east germany and sent to prison. i don't think andi is the main architect of what sends kleo away - he's really not smart enough for that - but it sure was convenient, in a very sinister way, that it happened to her RIGHT THEN and before their whole physical relationship was likely wont to come to light in a very physical way
