Thanks, Sal! TBH, “the only two that matter” was my original tagline for the gifset, so yeah, my mind went there as soon as I saw that scene. It was so reminiscent of S2. I know things aren’t the same between them at the moment and we’re all a bit frustrated with John, but I was really glad that he was there with Felicity to see Oliver come home. I was also glad it was just the three of them; no matter what other relationships have come and gone, they really are the heart of the show.
