“Justice is not a commodity. It is the heartbeat of civil society. When Access to Justice is not available to all, we sever the basic tie that binds us: faith in fair and equal treatment under the law.”
We must recruit and train good men and women with sound judgement to serve as public servants in our police forces. We must support and retain our good police officers, those with a conscience, strong morals, and personal principles. And then, and only then, shall we celebrate them as heroes.
