The additional sculpting has been completed! I raised the side curves a bit to give the helmets that real classic shape to them that they had in the OT (I realize mine are a bit exaggerated, but I had to cover the visor joints with clay causing the top piece to look less raised). Now I just have to wait for the clay to dry. I'm very impatient but I don't want them to dry too fast or the clay will crack. I'll leave the fan on them all night, flip them around before heading to work, and let the backsides dry all day. 🎃✌

Oh my gosh.

Let me introduce you to my boyfriend, Michael.

I like to spend an insane amount of time at his place. This relationship is not a conventional one. Oh no. He's a leech of the worst kind. You'd think it would be the man buying his lady gifts of all sorts but that's not what happens with us. He makes you think you WANT to spend your money--no, NEED to spend it. And when you finally say to yourself, "I think I've gotten enough" along comes a new project. But it's not a project you can handle with the hundreds of dollars worth of supplies you've already accrued.

It's a new hobby altogether.

Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the college student's world of arts an crafts where we want more of what you don't have. Your time and money.

College Dork and her Job

So I have a painting job for the summer again!  I get to paint the whole inside of this house!  (a repeat of what I did last year, but different house)

I love the painting but sometimes I wish I could go to a house and have it all taped up, tarps down, and ready to go.  

That being said I did a lot of sanding, washing, and taping today.  

I Want To Paint This Thing!!!!
