I LOVE THEM
No, but NASA has just announced the Artemis III crew, including NASA Commander Randy Bresnik, ESA Pilot Luca Parmitano, NASA Mission Specialist Andre Douglas, and NASA Mission Specialist Frank Rubio, along with naming NASA Astronaut Bob Hines as the backup crew member! 💫🌕🚀
I need Andre and Jenni on a mission together. And then I need Reid, Victor, Christina, and Jeremy on another mission together.
Welcome aboard.
This blog is dedicated to tracking developments related to NASA's Artemis III mission and the broader Artemis program.
We will be posting mission updates, news summaries, crew information, launch milestones, hardware progress, and other noteworthy developments as they are announced.
Latest Major Update
June 9, 2026: NASA announced the four-person Artemis III crew:
Randy Bresnik
Luca Parmitano
Frank Rubio
Andre Douglas
Current mission plans call for a 2027 flight focused on rendezvous and docking tests that will help prepare for future lunar landing missions.
Whatever my opinions may be regarding the lack of women on Artemis iii (and they are strong opinions) there’s two crew members I actually am really excited about.
Andre Douglas, who was a second during Artemis ii, will get his turn in the spotlight on the mission and I am very happy for him.
Luca Parmitano, who is not from Nasa but from Esa… which is why I’m excited, I’m glad an Esa astronaut got the opportunity to be involved in this.

petition to rename the artemis III mission to "BOYS TRIP!!!"
i have a feeling we are going to have a lot of fun with these guys they seem fun and i know nasa is getting hate for no women on this crew which is so obviously not intentional but this is giving us a higher chance for women on the moon for artemis iv so think abt it like that
