My name is C or CZ. I am Agender and prefer any pronouns really. I'm not a minor but I will not be disclosing my age. I am an artist wanting to become an animator. I'll probably be posting the art and stuff I do under "#my art", or "#-CZ". I reblog a lot and barely put tags on stuff that's not mine, so that's my apologies.

I overheard a woman at my job say "Your whole personality revolves around what you hate instead of what you love and thats an awful way to live." to the resident vocal Maga in the breakroom.
He was stunned into silence for at least 60 seconds so that was nice.
That’s right!! I’m voicing Aphrodite in a game called Match Made in the Heavens!! MMITH is a Greek mythology dating sim, like if the games Hades and Date Everything merged into one!!
Right now we’re looking for voice actors(we really need masc or deeper voiced VAs!!!), programmers, and more!! If you’re interested, check out the accounts @shapeshifter-studios and @match-made-in-the-heavens, or the master post

Grace rushes to Ilyukhina’s side and quickly tries to help her extricate herself from the strange substance. It’s not easy – the unfamiliar adhesive has a death grip on her hand – but eventually their combined efforts and weight are enough to pull Ilyukhina free of the strange vines. Both of them go flying back from the momentum, smacking into the opposite wall so hard that Grace’s head actually spins for a few seconds.
He recovered his faculties quickly though, and jolts as he realizes Yáo still needs assistance. He jets over to his commander, only to suck in a sharp breath when he sees the state the other is in. Instead of having just his hand stuck to the wall, it appears that Yáo struggles have resulted in him becoming even more entangled in the vines, now stuck to the wall from his fingertips all the way up to his shoulder.
The other had apparently come to the same conclusion as Grace, clearly having ceased his struggles to avoid making the situation worse. Grace can see the man’s grim expression through his visor, Yáo’s mouth pressed into a thin line and eyes narrowed. He’s sure the man is running through a dozen different scenarios of what to try next, but he looks wary to attempt any of them.
“I’m fine,” Yáo says quickly as Grace approaches, holding up his free hand to ward the other off. “Well, I’m not hurt at least. Don’t risk getting yourself stuck again.”
Ilyukhina hisses as she comes up next to the both of them. “What the hell is that stuff?”
“Your guess is as good as mine,” Yáo says, “I’ve never seen anything like it.”
“If only I had my lab,” Grace grumbles. His eyes scan the strange vines on the wall, but he doesn’t recognize anything about it either.
“I’d try to pull you down too, but I think we might accidentally rip your arm off if we tried,” Ilyukhina mutters.
“At the very least you might rip a hole in the suit,” Yáo agrees.
“I wonder if water or something might be able to dissolve it,” Grace speculates.
He opens the medical kit at his waist, but unsurprisingly there are no water bottles inside. It’d be an unpractical idea anyway considering it’d be near impossible to pour water in zero gravity. There is a tiny metal scalpel inside the kit, but again Grace is hesitant to try cutting through the sticky substance if he risks puncturing Yáo’s EVA suit in the process.
Grace still hands over the scalpel anyway. “Do you want to try?”
“I’d rather not risk it if possible,” Yáo says, though he takes the scalpel anyway and tucks it into the pouch on his belt. “Though in the absolute worst case scenario…”
“Hey, no,” Ilyukhina says sharply, waving a hand, “We’ll figure something out. Maybe… maybe there’s an answer to whatever this stuff is somewhere around here. Grace and I will go look around, and if nothing else maybe we can find a crowbar and pry you off there.”
Yáo laughs a bit, but sobers quickly. “Alright. I dislike the idea of splitting up, but it appears we have no other option. Be careful, and try not to touch anything you don’t recognize.”
“We’ll be back soon,” Grace promises.
“You won’t even know we’re gone!” Ilyukhina says, giving Yáo two thumbs up.
He waves them off. “Hurry, then. And if you need to leave me behind-“
“Don’t talk like that!” Ilyukhina says, “We’re not leaving you here! We’ll figure something out! Right, Grace?”
“Uh, yeah!” Grace nods furiously, “Don’t worry, we’ll get you down and then we’ll get the fudge out of here!”
And with that, Grace and Ilyukhina turn and continue down the hallway, the light of Yáo’s EVA suit growing smaller and smaller behind them.

A loud thunk reverberates around the station.
Immediately, he’s on high alert. The station has been silent for god knows how long at this point - days, months, years - it all blurs together in the total darkness that chokes its corridors. Dread swells in his stomach, sticky and putrid, and he digs his claws into the walls as he propels his way down the hallway.
It’s silent around him as it always is, and for a moment he thinks he’s just imagined the change from earlier - it wouldn’t be the first time his ears had played tricks on him in this hollow coffin he’d sealed himself inside - but then he hears it.
At first it’s faint, a slight scrape that could just be floating debris dragging along the walls, but then he hears it again and again. It’s too rhythmic to be a product of circumstance, too deliberate, too human. He pulls his claws from the hull and moves silently through the darkness, navigating the weightlessness of the corridors easily.
He sees it then, a faint beam of light at the end of the hall. He freezes, ducking into an empty room, but when the light doesn’t approach his location he risks another glance into the corridor. The light is still stuck in place, though it roves the nearby walls, floor and ceiling.
Is it stuck…?
He has a vision of dark vines creeping up the metal walls, ensnaring anything unlucky enough to cross their path. It’s a spider, waiting in a web with a dozen eyes watching everything around it. This could be another one of its tricks, another attempt to lure him closer to its center so it can consume him completely. He scowls, hand going for the knife on his hip.
The light bobs here and there, but he stays carefully out of sight. His eyes widen as he finds the source. It’s a person. A living person. A real-
Or is it real?
The suit the person wears is strange, a design he’s only seen in history books and video reels. He can hear the words the other is saying now, though they aren’t in a language he can understand. It’s obvious now that the other is trapped in the way he had expected, entangled in the vines it had sent out like a thousand disgusting feelers through out the station.
Metal flashes, and he watches the man dig a small blade in the space between the wall and his arm, trying fruitlessly to cut through the vines. It won’t be enough. He already knows that. What the other man needs is a real blade, one like the one he already has in his hand. His grip on the handle tightens.
The other still hasn’t noticed his presence, but if the station has caught something in its web, it won’t be long before She wakes up. He raises his blade. “Don’t struggle.”

It takes some trial and error, but eventually Grace and Ilyukhina make it to the room that Yáo had indicated earlier on his map. Much to both of their relief, it does appear to be the actual helm of the ship - and gosh, is it nice to finally catch a break after all the mess they’ve been through.
“Now we’re talking!” Ilyukhina cheers, morale clearly improving after finally finding a bit of hope.
That said, the helm is beyond trashed. Much like the room they’d previously been in, this area has furniture and and debris strewn all around like a storm had just blown through and tossed everything into chaos. The two of them carefully clear a path through the room, all the while searching around for anything that might be helpful.
Ilyukhina beelines for the bookshelves, rails installed in front of the books thankfully keeping a vast majority of them in place. “I’ll see if I can find any manuals.”
“Sounds good,” Grace says, giving her a thumbs up. “I’ll… look over here.”
Unfortunately he doesn’t have the expertise that Ilyukhina or Yáo would have when it comes to finding something that might be useful, but he does spot what looks like a computer terminal in the corner and beelines toward it. He’s not really expecting anything to happen when he taps a few buttons on the keyboard, but to his shock the screen lights up the moment he taps the enter key.
“Greetings,” the computer reads aloud, nearly making Grace jump out of his skin.
“Ah!”
“Grace?!” He looks over to see Ilyukhina floating toward him. “What-?”
“This thing’s still operational!” Grace says, pointing at the terminal.
Now that his heart rate is finally going down, his excitement is returning. If this thing still works, then maybe they can find a way to get the doors back open. Freeing Yáo is still a problem they’ll have to handle, but Grace would feel a whole lot better if they managed to re-open their exit route.
“Oh wow!” Ilyukhina says, “Alien tech!”
“It’s in English,” Grace says, turning back to the computer. The ‘Greetings’ is still there in the middle of the screen. “You think this thing responds to voice-?”
“Greetings!” The computer repeats.
“Oh, uh, hello!” Ilyukhina says, waving at the screen.
The computer beeps, screen glitching momentarily before settling back into its previous display. “New user detected! How would [User] like to be identified?”
Ilyukhina shoots Grace a look. He shrugs in response, so she replies, “My name is Ilyukhina.”
“Hello Ilyukhina, my name is ELLI! It’s so good to see you! It has been 300 years, two months, fifty seven days, six hours, five minutes, and thirty four seconds since the last operation was executed. How can I be of assistance?”
“Advanced AI,” Ilyukhina says, letting out a low whistle.
“Three hundred years though?” Grace says, “This thing has to be broken.”
“Everything around here is broken,” Ilyukhina laughs, “But this might just be our ticket out of here.” She crosses her arms. “What should we ask it first?”
