andrea/michonne: until the end
Michonne kneeled beside Andrea and cupped her tear stained cheek.
“You don’t have to be here…” Andrea said softly.
“I said I’d be here until the end.” Michonne wiped her friend’s tears and hiccupped from her own emotions.
Andrea smiled up at the woman who stuck by her side through the long winter, “I’m sorry I…”
“No,” Michonne shook her head. “I know… and I forgive you.”
Andrea closed her eyes and nodded her head. “You were always the strong one.”
“You were pretty tough, yourself…” Michonne tried to lighten the mood.
A small smile formed in the corner of Andrea’s mouth and she blindly took Michonne’s free hand. “I kind of had a girl crush on you,” she admitted.
“I know… me too,” Michonne chuckled, despite the tears that streamed down her cheek.
Andrea opened her eyes and took a shaky breath. “Thank you… for everything.”
Michonne choked up on her tears and closed her eyes when Andrea leaned forward to press their lips in a lingering kiss. “I’ll miss you,” she whispered against her lips.
“I’ll miss you too.” Andrea pulled away from the kiss and gave her one last smile before she took her gun and ended her pain.
