Why are we still ignoring the women who can really rap?
I hate that I have to keep harping on this topic, but the fact that hip-hop is still so incredibly sexist in 2017, is disgraceful. Both the artform, and the culture, are so much better than this. An important article from 2DopeBoyz’ Andreas Hale.
Even though I'm not a fan of Andreas Hale, what the WWE did to him was despicable. I'm sure that Ari Emanuel & the folks at TKO know that Wrestlemania is going to be a big failure.

When I started my career in music journalism, album reviews were something that, at least for me, were carefully crafted after numerous listens. Sure, there was a deadline in place by my editors, but the influence of social media and the god-awful rat race of posting grammatically flawed content without proper checks and balances superseding quality has, essentially, ruined the album review. Writers are more concerned with being first with their scattered think pieces rather than truly digesting an album.

Great to see 2DB give words a chance. Long have I felt they form of speed blogging was a detriment to the rap journalism world. Respect to Meka & Shake for building an empire and finding a way to bring back the real. Great piece by Mr. Hale. I hope he is able to have an honest conversation with Jigga one day and learn if this was in fact his intentions when going at Nas. Was Jay-Z really just a huge fan who wanted his favorite emcee back? I might just have to recalculate my thoughts on the victor.
