Reading Appreciation
Since living with brain injury and long covid I've gained a deeper appreciation for the ability to read, listen to, and make books. Here are a few that I'm especially loving lately:
Met legendary rapper, Jean Grae yesterday.
My favorite rapper Jean Grae will be at Little District Books today in Washington D.C. at 6:30 PM for Pride.
LGBTQ and Mauritian: Starley, Denrele, Kama la Mackerel, Jean Grae and Laila Woozeer
decided i should check out jean grae's solo work since i like all her features i've heard. click her top song on spotify. the very first line i hear, she says "faggot" - okay, it was 2003, grimace and move on, but then later on the song she drops a jab at "trannies who paid for implanted wombs"? not off to a great start!
