Meet Andrew Blank
Who better to craft a perfect playlist for any taste, time or place than a doctor of audiology? Andrew Blank, a recent graduate of Rush University's audiology program, has been blessing ears on 8tracks with hundreds of mixes since 2010 and shows no sign of stopping any time soon.
A few words from the doctor himself:
“My 8tracks experience has been nothing short of life-changing. No, this is not an empty, cliche hyperbole. 8tracks is where I learned I could be creative and where that creativity has been met with support and encouragement. More importantly, I've met some of my very best friends on a platform that I can matter-of-factly say is among the most diverse and inclusive group of users on the internet. As a result, 8tracks is my haven and I strive to give back as much as everything it’s given me.”
“I #back8tracks because it’s backed me 100% since the very beginning. Right now for the crowdfunding campaign, I'm running a new mixtape series where I'm "remastering" and "revisiting" some of my more formative playlists, as I've come a long way over the years. It's been fun to re-introduce some of my older mixtapes and this is my way of giving a nod to the platform that’s given me such an immersive experience from day 1.”
