This issue presents the origin and first appearance of the superheroes Captain Future!

No relation to the science fiction pulp hero of the same name created a year earlier, this Captain Future was Andrew Bryant. Decades before characters at Marvel Comics figured it out, Bryant found that by subjecting himself to gamma rays and infrared radiation he could - instead of dying painfully - gain superpowers!

Another hero named Doc Strange, with a similar set of powers and costume, would later show up at the same publisher (Nedor). The way to tell them apart is that Cap wore trunks and booties, while Doc wore jodhpurs and riding boots.
