Wonder Man is a nice grounded and character-driven story, but we kept waiting for the other shoe to drop. You know the other shoe. The one that looks like a big CGI battle and a sky beam at the end of an MCU project. But no! They let us have our grounded story! Shout out to Marvel!

Wonder Man stars Yahya Abdul-Mateen II (Simon Williams), Sir Ben Kingsley (Trevor Slattery), and Zlatko Buric (Von Kovak). The series is created by Destin Daniel Cretton and Andrew Guest. Guest also serves as showrunner.
Wonder Man premieres on Disney+ on January 27, 2026.
