MURFREESBORO — A Murfreesboro police officer who was charged with trading a television for narcotics was recommended for termination by Chief Glenn Chrisman Friday, according to official documents. Officer Andrew Messick and his wife, Crystal Messick, were arrested on July 22 by Agent Bryan Noel of the TBI at a Walgreens in Murfreesboro. The couple was seen exchanging a television for Roxicodone, a prescription painkiller, according to Noel’s statement to the Murfreesboro Police Department.
