“I’m really into the craft of art making and I’m always trying to pick up new techniques and materials. As a sculptor and drawer I was really attracted to tooled leather as a material that exists halfway between both disciplines. It’s like some kind of hot-rodded, backwoods-baroque hillbilly low-relief.
