Reintroducing Andrite and Tero’Ra, I present the ‘stuck in development hell’ original character donut steal Kesi, an oc that was made before I turned my ‘thep khufan aren’t an alien species’ Mutants and Magic au as my default Ben 10 ocverse so she stopped being Kesiris.
Have also this ‘rotating in my mind for forever’ triad pondering how to taste a rock that can’t taste featuring fucked up face hugger petrosapien kissing-
Now, you may have heard of them from that short little post I made about them, but they’re non-binary! They’ve got a little dysphoria with their body and gender, so I got a friend of mine to help oversee the outfit design.
Right now they’re not entirely that confident, but that doesn’t stop them from being a ball of sunshine!
Viridin and Andrite have their moments of talking a lot, but they do it with significantly different energies.
You speak to Viridin? You express interest in Viridin long enough for a conversation? Be prepared for a rambling session straight from an Earth fanboy’s mouth. If you don’t know he’s a lone child to a single mother, just moved to Earth or lives with a found family, you’ve either gone to sleep or took it in your own hands to stop him-!
Andrite, on the other hand, hardly ever seems to talk unprompted. But there in lies how they do end up rambling. Questions, queries, something as simple as what they can and can’t eat can get them to fly off the rails. Tero’ra asks what they can and can’t eat and she won’t be walking away without learning that digesting silicon crystals with carboxylates, with hydroxyl as one of its parts, makes silanol, a chemical found in all alcohols.
here i go again, cutting and pasting elements of me into my characters woop-!
Hello, dear! You've been visited by the random character question fairy! :D ~☆
How does your character dress? Do they prefer elaborate dress clothes or something more casual? Do they wear makeup? Jewelry? Why do they choose to dress this way?
Let’s talk about Andrite and Chio for now, since they’re the ones that I’ve actually already revealed.
For Andrite, currently they’re the type to wear comfort clothes, which typically involves jumpers, hoodies and trackies. If it looks like they’ve just gotten out of bed, it’s probably very true, but they may try to convince you otherwise if you ask directly.
Currently, they’re still a little concerned about more... androgynous outfits, especially wearing them in public, but Andrite would be willing to try... at some point. The most they can do right now is wearing ballet flats, but mostly because they can be slipped on and off for quick bed access.
Jewellery isn’t their thing, even as a curiosity. It’s not as if they’re a Petrosapien, if they were to align with their fashion tropes all their loose fitting woollen clothes wouldn’t be on the table, but because they don’t feel it would suit them. Andrite just, doesn’t know what jewellery they would want anyway.
To Chio, he’s also more a causal dresser, but unlike Andrite, he’s fine with more conforming clothes. But that’s for everyday wear, just a nice and simple singlet and some jeans, some pairs that go over his prosthetic leg and others - if they’re not loose enough - tucked or even cut short.
But when he’s actually on the job (being a psychological and everything), he’s a little more professional, trading in his singlet for... not quite a shirt, not one based on Earth standards at least. He may also wear a ‘jacket’, which really only covers his shoulders, but nothing too fancy.
As for jewellery, while its not his thing most of the time, Chio can see the appeal. He may enjoy a ring or too, but any accessories other than clothing that he cares about really centre around his leg. It’s nothing fancy, and maybe the red hits a little close to home, but when he doesn’t feel the need to hide it away, Chio does at least try to make it presentable... in a functional sort of way of course.
