Android Phones to Soon Offer Live Captions or ‘Subtitles’ for Phone Calls Google announced ‘Live Caption’ last year as an exclusive feature for some of its Pixel phones. The feature puts subtitles on videos and audio in real-time whenever speech is detected.

Google Assistant and its Features
It was a very busy day of 5th of October, 2016. It released two smartphones, a connected speaker, a VR set, a fancy router and a new Chrome cast all in one incredible hour and a half event.
But all the hardware announcements were focused on a software feature that Google looks to think is more in limelight: the Google assistant.
The Google Assistant is, at its core, just to modernize the searches in a conversation with an AI that catches all your information. It is a sort of like a grand mix-up of Siri and a chat bot: we can ask questions loud out or by typing, and it’ll try to pull in what we’re expecting, be it the solution of any trigonometry problem, directions to a departmental store, or instructions on getting something done.
Google Assistant
Google Assistant is approaching to many of Google’s latest launches. It’s put up into the company’s latest chat app, Allo, and commands the upcoming Google Home, a smart speaker. But the two latest smartphones released Pixel and Pixel XL put Assistant in your pocket and make it available at anevery moment. Just hold the home button or say “OK Google” to unveiling the AI assistant and just initiate giving commands.
Google Assistant can solve all the commands and questions, check the weather or play a track you like. Assistant can even recognize follow-up questions so you can achieve a more likely conversation, alike to what Siri provides. It also interchanges the company’s old “Now on Tap” feature, carrying up related information on whatever we’re presently looking at as soon as it’s started.
Powerful Cameras
The smartphone series, Pixel and Pixel XL both are featuring a 12.3-megapixel rear camera that recorded a striking 89 from DxOMark Mobile, building them the top-number mobile devices around. Google also introduced a “Smart burst” mode, which automatically clicks a lot of photos in a row and elites the best one for you. Android app development services can shoot 4K video at 30 frames per second, appears digital image stabilization and assures high-quality low light shots.
In Up front, you’ll get a decent 8-megapixel camera. Google didn’t provide much details on the secondary shooter, but it should be more than capable of generating solid selfies for sharing the stuff online.
Unlimited High-Quality Storage
Once we capture all those wonderful photos and videos we’ll want somewhere to store them. Luckily, the Pixel and Pixel XL arise with Google Photos pre-installed, which already provides free storage for compressed pictures and videos.
As an additional benefit, the company is lobbing in unlimited original-quality storage.
Daydream Support
The latest smartphone Pixel and Pixel XL are also the chief phones officially which very first approved to cooperate with Daydream. Google’s latest virtual reality platform provides a much more fascinating feel than Cardboard, though it still can’t really beat with high-end headsets like the Locus Rift and HTC vive. Still, the newly launched Daydream for just $79 view will bring out your Pixel smartphone into an exciting VR viewer.
It’s not all good news, though. The new smartphones Pixel and Pixel XL look pretty same as Apple’s iPhone's particularly from the front, which is a bit of a down point. The price is a little unapproachable too by Nexus standards, starting at $649 and moving all the way up to $869. But if you don’t mind paying leading prices, the Pixel is a pretty great choice overall.
