( Android!lock! John has a sentient android, but a new law has required people to downgrade their droids so they can't have individual thought, emotion or preferences)
Sherlock sat at the kitchen table with his back straight and his hands in his lap. Althought he couldn't taste, he had finished his cereal bar meant to give him energy. The news was being relayed in his head and he looked at John " Would you like me to access the news or your calendar first, John?" he asked. Processing the front page of the news was an ordeal at first, he then looked down and frowned. Fear bubbling in his mind. He’d been aware of the growing problem of androids attacking people or forcing themselves into a humans world, believing they where just as important. An interesting thought but, one he wouldn’t entertain. John had bought him when he required assistance after returning home from the army. Sherlock was picked. He had learned and was now extremely close to the human, the thought of leaving the emotion of care for his owner behind didn’t sit well.
