So an idea I've been playing w is a qunari/elf character? Specifically an inquisitor w one parent from clan lavellan and the other a vashoth. Would that even be feasible lore wise? How would they look? I know sometimes dalish accept elf blooded children in so I figure it would be similar? Would this inquisitor get valislin when they become an adult? Just some ideas (and my need to project and make a mixed race native coded char lol). Thanks for ur time! 💜
Because the Qun controls all births and doesn’t mix races, and we’ve never seen a Tal-Vashoth / Vashoth have a child with a non-qunari, there’s no knowledge of if this is possible. Children between all other races are possible though, just harder to happen, so I don’t see why not?
Canonically speaking they would look 100% qunari, because the child of an elf and a non-elf always appears 100% like the non-elf because bullshit.
If you want to throw that in the garbage where it belongs, you can be creative and realistic and make them look however between those two races you like! :)
I don’t see why the Inquisitor couldn’t have vallaslin, no. They are a Dalish elf and all Dalish elves are welcome to have vallaslin, even those not born to the clan, as exemplified in Knight Errant.
