I'm currently reading "Andromeda Klein" and just ugh it's been so many months and I just can't get through it because the writer spends 1 or 2 full pages describing these books about tarot cards etc but
1. I don't have an interest in tarot cards and think all psuedo psychology is bullshit
2. They all have really long and intricate names that I don't understand and have a hard time pronouncing so I just get bored and lose track of what I'm reading.
King Dork (written by the same author) is my favouite book but this one just isn't doing it for me. I'm up to page 67, does it get better? I am determined to finish it because I will never not finish a book but still?
I am currently reading Andromeda Klein and I feel like I've been sharing her headspace all day. it's a really great, interesting story even though it's dense like a textbook and in some ways, she reminds me a lot of myself as a teenager. so much that i wish this book existed when i was her age.
Frank Portman - Andromeda Klein
ITS Book Club Picks: Andromeda Klein by Frank Portman video book review
Dr. Frank accepted my friend request on facebook.
HOLLAH.
And for those of you that don't know who he is he is the author of King Dork and Andromeda Klein. He is also the main singer/songwriter in the band The Mr. T Experience. He also posted my picture with his book on his blog, twitter, and facebook.
I AM VERY HAPPY RIGHT NOW.
Andromeda Klein, from the YA novel of the same name by Frank Portman a.k.a. Dr. Frank of the Mr. T Experience. It's about an awkward teen occultist and I have lots and lots of tender feelings towards it.
Trying china markers, ink, and regular ol' pens together after spontaneously getting really excited about those particular media for no reason a few days ago. Maybe a little too freewheeling and soft and messy for my particular style, I'm so uptiiiight, urk
great C'thulhu, woo hoo hoo
