with a hammer and a knife! i actually don't really know where i'm going with this one still, but i've been mulling it over non-stop. it's supposed to be brujay with outsider pov ala dick where there is zero subtlety in their courtship but both of them are kind of oblivious to it.

“He has crazy eyes.” Dick says to him, and he knows Jason doesn't get it when Jason is just staring back at him like he's the crazy one. And that's just offensive when Dick has been the one forced to take a front seat to whatever the fuck this is. “He has crazy for you eyes, little wing.” Dick doesn't really know how else to spell it out for Jason when the gravity of that still doesn't hit him. “That's just what B always looks like.” Jason replies, slowly, treating Dick like he's the one that doesn't understand. “Y'know, intense, unblinking, a little bug-eyed, uh. Kinda weird?”

I'm in uni in japan, and they had a police officer come for a lecture once. The cop was on stage, called a volunteer, and told her to say STOP when he got to where it would be uncomfortable if he was any closer. He got stopped like 6 feet away, but when they did it in reverse he was okay up until her face was 5 inches from his chin. Then he laughed and said policemen are trained to have a smaller personal space boundary so that they could comfort people with their presence. People skills, man!

I’m just. DYING. At the thought of Miyuki being trained to comfort people. Ahahahaa oh my god him dropping out of police school isn’t far-fetched, it’s such a believable cover lmao.

Also since kendo and/or judo lessons are required when Eijun finds out he gets all sparkly-eyed and pesters Miyuki like 

“HAVE A MATCH WITH ME.” 

“NO GO FIND SOMEONE ELSE TO BE YOUR PRACTICE TARGET.”
