songs that intimately remind me of ian gallagher and mickey milkovich-
i will write a one-shot off of this song and post it.

your eyes, so crystal green,
Ian, obviously, has green eyes, and mickey, obviously, adores them.
sour apple baby, but you taste so sweet-
2. Ian is a paradox, his personality makes him so, but so is little Mickey. Mickey and Ian both have strong fists, good fighting skills, sarcastic, smart, assholish wit, and way of dealing with enemies. Though they differ in the way their anger is handled and fighting technique and bite in their words, they do share those similarities, but they paradox in the sweet way they handle each other and their loved ones. They are sour but sweet. They are self contradicting.
Your voice is velvet through a telephone
3. Mickey sitting on the other side of a pane of glass, picking up a receiver, and speaking to Ian. Glancing to, glancing away, threatening jello thieves, and “I miss you”s spoken; some louder than others. “Hello, Mick.” being told after waiting forever for a call, and worriedly replying, “Where the fuck are you, Ian?”. Svetlana paying, Ian talking, and tattoos gotten. This line holds so much weight.
think i know a bar where they would leave us alone
4.remember the club kiss? The Gay Bar/ Club, and mickey being able to be himself, free, in public for the first time. His terrified eyes, and Ian’s knowing smirk, and thumbs brushing ears as lips hungrily enveloped each other, because Ian may have all eyes on him, but he only has eyes for one guy.
Mickey figured then nobody gave a shit, and would shortly later deem them, “Together.”
up come my fists, and i say ‘I’m only playing, boy’,
5. this is for earlier season Mickey. He denied it because he was terrified of his father, not only for him but for Ian too, and he was terrified of what may happen if he really did like Ian.
i grab your hand and then we run to the car, singing in the street and playing air guitar
6. during the alley scene, and the ‘Love is a battlefield scene.both some of their most freest beautiful moments. it showed mickey’s true love because in both he wasn’t even smashed, but he chose to interact in such a way with little ian. in both scenes, he was acting so free and giggly and childlike because of ian.
stuck between my teeth like a candy bar
7. the snickers bar scene and cute worried ian clutching the back of distraught micks neck, the closest they’ve been besides fucking. its a moment of trust, a moment of choice. a moment of fear, and sacrifice.
ive never recognized a purer face, you stopped me in my tracks and put me right in my place
8. in their first ever intimate scene (i need the gun back mickey) ian’s face truly did stop mickey in his tracks and put him in his place.
used to think that loving meant a painful chase, but you’re right here now and i think you’ll stay
9. both ian and mickey have seen their fair share of shitty relationships. ian and his siblings share of shitty relationships, as well as Ian’s own shitty relationships. Monica and Frank, and mickey was there to witness his parents shitty relationship, so they both believed, truly, that love wasn’t real. it wasn’t a thing that was going to happen to either of them but then they saw each other and knew. they just knew, whether it was subconscious or conscious, they knew that they were safe for each other and meant to be.
and i think its finally, finally, finally, finally safe
10. ian and mickey will do anything to protect each other and they trust, in each others embrace, they will always be safe.
“No,I’m not running. I need to protect him.”
“i’m not the kind of guy that let people talk shit about the man he loves.”
