It's the prequel movie to the series, takes place a year before season 1 and it sets up a couple of very relevant characters.

I highly recommend watching it either after season 1 or after the Hidden Inventory portion of season 2

(btw Hidden Inventory is my favorite story arc and augh it's so good, so ship baity, and just uuugggh Gojo is amazing in it)
