Your boyfriend is like a mean himbo.

He never stops talking (unless he thinks you want him to). He's developed a sixth sense specifically for when you need him to stop talking. He knows he's all poorly thought out jokes and comments that make your friends roll their eyes. He's not stupid, just a little dense.

You'd been quick to stake your claim on him when his family had moved over a county in fifth grade. He'd learned about said claim in seventh grade, after he'd joined the basketball team and was subsequently deemed worthy of being taken in by your friend group.

You've been together ever since. Uninterrupted for years. Years crucial to your development.

Andy likes being sweet and doing things for you. Partly because he likes how you look at him after. Like he could never do anything wrong and he's the best boyfriend on earth. But, since he's him, he's also a little spurred on by the fact that he treats his girlfriend better than his friends treat their girlfriends.

He genuinely loves you. Not just because you're pretty and perfect and smart. Not because you've been together for a stupidly long time. All he's been told since middle school is how good you were for him. How you complimented him well or balanced him out or whatever. And you do! You're kind of perfect for him, actually.

He's irritating, though. Even during sex. Especially after he learns what he's doing.

He’ll have you in his lap, your back on his chest and two of his fingers working you. He prides himself on how good he is at making you feel good. It's too bad he's had something to say about every little sound and move you made.

“You're so fucking-stop talking.”

You can feel him smiling against your shoulder.

“Seriously? You're like, swallowing my hand right now.”

Then he falls asleep like a baby, either completely splayed out or around you like a boa constructor. Constantly just on and around you. It's the best part of his day! He follows his girlfriend around and looks at her for approval about every time he says anything.
