John´s Children intermitentes, desafiantes, descarados, bandarrillas, en la fantástica y pre sicodélica “Smashed Blocked” de 1966, todavía sin Marc Bolan, pero con Andy Ellison (>Jet >Radio Stars), Chris Townson (>Jook > Jet) y John Hewlett, que fue el mánager de Sparks una vez asentados en Londres en 1973. Sparks forman parte del árbol genealógico de John´s Children, y tal vez su “Those Mysteries” de 1977, sobre todo en su parte final, sea un pequeño homenaje a ese legendario “aplastado, bloqueado”.

Go-Go Girl, 1967 single written by Marc Bolan when he was in John’s Children. His signature word play was in full and fabulous force on this track.

Marc Bolan was in the legendary proto-punk band John's Children for a few months in 1967. He wrote this very naughty song, Desdemona, and can be heard playing guitar and singing the backing vocals.
