A LARK ENDING: andy

if any of you are interested in how i had planned for andy’s story to go, im putting a little summary below!

after andy found out she was pregnant again, dante became more and more distant. she suspected he was having an affair, and after a night of deep conversation and crying with her best friend and cousin killian, andy decided enough was enough. she confronted him at his workplace, where she found out that she was correct about the affair, and ended their relationship. 

though their romantic relationship was over, the two agreed that they should seek out help for how to remain cordial and work as a team for their daughter and unborn son. dante sought therapy and worked hard to be a good father.

andy began to work hard to realize her dreams as a child - to become a baker, and eventually open up her own shop. she moved into her own home and soon put a down payment on a tiny bakery that needed some tlc. 

the bakery was next door to a small but beautiful flower shop where andy met zuri tsai, a quiet but vibrant woman with burns on her face and neck. zuri made andy believe in love again, but andy was scared to fall for her - afraid of getting hurt again.

it took time, but zuri finally got through to andy and the two fell in love and eventually married after andy gave birth to her son rory lark. juno is a wonderful older sibling and loves to take rory on adventures. 

andy and her little family live in a beautiful home with a garden not far from the bakery and flower shop. her life may not be the perfect fairytale she had always dreamt about, but it is still her perfectly imperfect life, and she wouldn’t change it for anything

andy: please be careful dante: i’ll be fine andy: dante- dante: i gotta get goin’ honey juno: da! andy: daddy has to go to work honey juno: no dante: [sighs] how about i put you to bed huh, kid? juno: mmhmm ya dada

juno: what now mama? andy: now we wait until its done! and then we can put some frosting on and make them look pretty! juno: hehe! with daddy too? andy: daddy’s busy honey - maybe tomorrow

andy: so that’s the plan! mrs. harrison says she’s more than happy to take me on as an apprentice, and being at the bakery should help keep me busy while dante’s in boot camp killian: i just need you to know how much i hate everything about this demaris: don’t you want to travel the world? go to college? thea: yeah, why the rush the settle down and be a little trophy wife? florence: thea, hey, chill, don’t be so harsh

dante: you know as hard as you try i don’t think i’ll ever be able to make sweets like you andy: don’t be so modest! anyone can bake, its all just steps and ingredients. you wanna know the real secret? dante: and what’s that? andy: [giggles] love. if you don’t love what you’re making, or who you’re makin’ it for, its just going to taste like a cupcake. just a regular ‘ole cupcake. but you add that love in and it becomes something special

dante: speakin’ of, we graduate soon.  andy: mmhmmm dante: i don’t wanna do it now, but we should look at what we got planned after graduation. andy: sure, sure! but another day, right? right now you look so sweet, i don’t wanna think about boring adult stuff dante: [chuckles] alright, alright. but, later, promise? andy: you got it!
