The shipping forecast burbling from the sleepy lighthouse keeper Boo’s transistor radio at the start of Macrobert Arts Centre’s Santa’s Sleigh Light Keeper predicts “occasionally moderate” conditions, but the show is anything but.

Circles: Andy McGregor

Thinking about the arrangement of my wisteria pods (will probably go with the flow and do something simple), I was struck by the hypnotic repetition of Andy McGregor at Vivid’s Mad Racket 2018 event at the Opera House. McGregor’s graphics were used in conjunction with the tunes of Scottish DJ, Lord of the Isles. I might go closer up on the pods for more detailed effect, as I worry I’ll lose that if I zoom out too far and have the whole circle in shot.
