Ideally I would like to exhibit this as a temporal installation, with the pods being heated in the space to the point of popping. Alternatively, I’d have this video work playing on repeat onto a wall or the floor, and with a post-popping installation of it nearby on the ground or a plinth. In this scenario the video work could even be played on top of the popped seed pods. I would also like to have the technical ability to film the pods from further away, thus one would see a circle of pods changing and twisting at random.

Pods #2: Slow motion cracks

Experimenting with isolating the most exciting moments of the time lapse, in order to create excitement. Will fiddle around with splitting audio and extending it to avoid gaps in the overall film.

Pods #1: Time Lapse (5 hours)

The entire length of [basically unedited] footage I have taken sped up for effect. I am a little annoyed at the slight moves that take place due to changing over SD cards and batteries, so I’ll try to reduce them for my final edit.
