Which victors do you think are most likely to ally with one another?

“Well, I’m certain Taren and Andy will form an alliance, a rare opportunity for District Twelve to be a part of the career pack. Reed and Soloman are also likely to ally themselves, as are Isaac and Everett, who I can conceivably see allying with Jay as well.”

"Hi, Caesar! I love your show! Can you rate our current victors from 1 to 12 according to how dangerous do you think they can be in the arena?"

v“Well, hello dear caller! Now that is a fun challenge. For the sake of time, I will rate the Victors who were reaped. Starting with...

District 1: Andy Thane. Somewhere around a ten. He would be an eleven if were younger, maybe even a twelve.

District 2: Soloman Cain. Eleven or Twelve. I still haven’t decided if he’s lost his edge. But, still, even without his edge, he’s a lethal tribute.

District 3: Isaac Dayta. He scores relatively high, perhaps a seven or eight? He’s not particularly strong or fast, but if he can get those brilliant hands on any gadgetry at all, he can be seriously dangerous.

District 4: Kestrel Kaif. Perhaps not as flashy a Victor as her District Mates, she still scores roughly an eight or nine for her determination, and her brains.

District 5: Easton Wellwood. He scores a solid seven. He was wily and cruel during his Games when he was only seventeen. Now that he has size on his side, he may prove far more lethal now.

District 6: Jay Mercury. Somewhere around a five, I think. He’s smart and definitely someone you should let run off, but he isn’t much of a fighter, and we’ve all seen his tricks before.

District 7: Amur Bois. About a seven or an eight, I think. He’s very unpredictable, and it seems he’s just itching to get into the arena. Actually, I’ll bump him up to a nine.

District 8: [no named tributes yet]

District 9: Tweed Richter. Oh, how I would like to score her highly, but I just can’t. I give her a six or seven. She has all the brutality and thirst for blood you like to see in a tribute, but she’s much smaller, and not very smart.

District 10: Everett Andreas. He certainly isn’t going to go down without a fight, but this boy ranks about a five or six for me, and mostly because you can’t count out that much rage.

District 11: Reed McPhee. A bit of a surprise for his District, but he ranks a solid seven. He has a temper, and he is no slouch.

District 12: Taren Vosk. Sweetheart though she is, she’s going to be on the low end for me, perhaps a five. She did not have many kills in her Games, and this time she won’t have the benefit of being relatively unknown and forgettable.

“Those are my rankings, so we’ll see how they stand up against the official ones!”

this show feels really scripted. everett and isaac, rowan and andy, and baxter and ciaran all have the same romance going on.

“I assure you, nothing about Village Watch is scripted! It may only seem similar because all of them are suddenly faced with the reality that they’ve wasted their time together. Now they only have a week to act on these feelings, and who can say if any of those feelings are really romantic. Maybe they’re desperate because they’ve run out of time and they have precious little time to work on whatever feelings they may have. Maybe, they’re finally getting their fun in while they can. Maybe they’ve been involved this whole time and have now decided it wasn’t worth hiding anymore. Who knows? But I promise, there is no script.”

What victor do you think will go in for each district? Everyone's already talking about playing the hero and volunteering, who do you think will actually have the balls to go through with it and who won't?

“That question is almost impossible to answer. Obviously, everyone isn’t going to volunteer for everyone, and we still do not know who will be reaped. It’s even difficult to say who isn’t sincere! For one, I believe Niko and Isaac both mean to volunteer, but only one can, and there is of course Ami to consider. One or both of them could decide not to volunteer at the last moment, as could anyone who says they’re going to volunteer. Baxter and Adonis have been heard saying they will both volunteer, but that leaves us in the same position as a normal reaping. Can you tell if one of them is lying? I can’t.”

“It’s so heart-wrenching, I know! We watched them fall in love and it’s been such a journey to watch them together. Such drama, such romance! We’ll see how the Games turn out, but who knows? Perhaps the power of their love will reunite them in some way!”

“I think there’s hardly such thing as a “walk of shame,” especially coming from Rowan’s villa. Perhaps more of a “walk of wish we did this more often.””

who're your favorite careers?

“Ohh, it’s so hard to say! There are so many good ones, and I’ve known many of them for so long! Baxter and Andy are both so fun and charming, both are true delights. Cain’s Games were so remarkable and exciting to watch, I don’t mind so much that he is so sarcastic. It’s pretty amusing, as it happens. Alecto, I simply adore, she is so fierce! She knows what she wants and she goes for it, no apologies. Duncan is a bit of a hermit, but his Games were also brutally entertaining, and who doesn’t have one or four of his novels on their nightstand? Oh, I guess I haven’t answered your question. Ah well, I prefer to hear who your favorites are!”
