(210816) @andy_trieu_show: shinee jonghyun - sm town building is where he told us to meet him, on arrival we were greeted by his large entourage, 15 + people in his camp, jonghyun was there in the centre signing a pile of cds, andy: jonghyun, who are some of these people? jonghyun: staff, make-up, everything, andy: ohhh i looked down and saw his huge platform shoes which added maybe 10cm? andy: big shoes jonghyun: yes! he talked about his time in australia in 2011, he liked eating food here with the shinee members and remembered the energy of australian fans, andy: i brought vegemite again! jonghyun: no, no, no (points down to his stomach) kpop stars saw him as a role model and it made sense, he was a very polite and polished artist, even from looking at his seated posture made me straighten my back and cross my legs like him. we shared a couple of laughs and he hands me one of the cds from the pile. later that week the crew and i went backstage at mnet music bank music show, i knew he was there so i wanted to go say g’day, i found out that unlike other artists, which all share one floor to prepare, he got a whole level to himself because of his status and seniority, jonghyun is a kpop star, a charity activist an outspoken voice for young people and minorities, he means so much to so many people and is truly missed by fans all over. thank you @jonghyun.948 ❤️
