Adam Ant in his early years:
* The first photo: Cute Adam on the school, 1960's.
* Second photo: In "Bazooka Joe" era.
* The third photo: I didn't know he had long hair!
* Fourth photo: Adam in glasses reading a newspaper.
* Fifth photo: I think also in "Bazooka Joe" era.

The Monochrome Set - Jacob's Ladder

Jukebox the Ghost and the Mowgli’s Bring Their Tour to Brooklyn Steel
Ben Thornewill (vocals and keys), Tommy Siegel (vocals, guitar and bass) and Jesse Kristin (drums) began making music together while in college. Thanks to their first studio full-length, 2008’s Let Live & Let Ghosts (stream it here), filled with clever, catchy power-pop tunes, Jukebox the Ghost were able to travel the country, increasingly gaining more fans with each stop. They’ve remained busy ever since, recording and touring ever few years. The trio’s fifth LP, Off to the Races (stream it here), dropped last spring. “The band seems to have found a level of equilibrium between their penchant for pop hooks and their diverse set of other influences,” says PopMatters. “Off to the Races is a big creative success for Thornewill, Siegel and Kristin, and it should please existing fans and possibly draw in new ones.” While AllMusic offers: “Off to the Races continues the underrated Jukebox the Ghost’s pop-tastic winning streak, delivering a taut, 10-track set of meticulously crafted and radio-ready confections that would eat through the wrapper in lesser hands.”
Jukebox the Ghost have been on the road with fun-loving Los Angeles six-piece the Mowgli’s—Colin Louis Dieden (vocals and guitar), Katie Jayne Earl (vocals and percussion), Matthew Di Panni (bass and vocals), Josh Hogan (guitar and vocals), Dave Appelbaum (keys and vocals) and Andy Warren (drums and vocals)—who put out a terrific new EP, American Feelings (stream it here), radiating sunny positivity and filled with choir-like harmonies, earlier this month. And with just a few dates left on their joint Making Friends Tour, Jukebox the Ghost and the Mowgli’s play Brooklyn Steel on Wednesday night. L.A. trio Twin XL open the show.
