The Park Is Closed.
It had been nearly seven years since she found about InGen’s experiments. Seven years since she had tried to destroy the files on mixing human and dinosaur DNA. And seven years of being trapped in this form. Not that she minded all that much. Things could have been worse, right? She could be dead…. Though the pain she had went through during the procedure was enough to make someone want to be dead. She shook her head at the thought. She had been their first successful experiment. The first hybrid. Able to switch between forms of a raptor and of a human, though only if you had the controls. Which she did, thanks to her befriending one of the scientists that helped her escape… She had been too smart for her own good. Both raptor and human intelligence, not to mention the stubbornness that she held in both forms. It hadn’t been good for her handlers.
She shook her head, clearing it. No need to think about that now. This was her new life. Surviving on this island, alone. Raptors were pack animals…. and here she was without a pack. It made hunting a bit more difficult, but it also made the reward that much sweeter, not having to share.
She was on the trail of an escaped pig, weaving in and out of the trees as she rushed after it. Though when she heard a sound that she hadn’t heard for a long while, she skidded to a hult, tilting her head and listening closely.
Footsteps.
Not dinosaur, but human…. and they were coming on quickly…. Running.
PuAnother sound came to her, other raptors, barking…. hunting. Two at the least. Great. Didn’t humans know to stay away from the island? This was /their/ land now. But she was human…. Once. She couldn’t just let raptors rip a fellow human being apart, even if they were just doing what they needed to do to survive.
She shook her head to clear it, barking once before taking off towards the sound. The foot falls hat stopped, now there. Was hissing and growling. Waiting for the right moment to strike. But it wouldn’t come. She lept over the now cornered human, bearing her teeth at the other two raptors, barking in warning for them to back off.
so, you mean to tell me that there is yet another dude that looks like me? this is wild really makes you think about the complexity of the universe and how the astronomical number of atoms that had to coalesce just right to form such intricate copies... sorry, I'm being stupid again. Guess I just got bored and started thinking too much
No that wasn’t stupid…that was…awesome, man!!! I never thought of it that way! You make it sound so cool!!! And yeah theres another one, Peter Quill…you may know him as Star Lord.
