Once Andyra hits her teens (like, idk, 16+ i guess?) she gets into dressing up as ~Sexy~ versions of Sith Lords for Halloween.
So BEHOLD: Sexy Tulak Hord for your viewing displeasure 8)
We were discussing if Halloween existed in Star Wars and how it might work. And then as per usual I ruined everything and killed @sith-shenanigans. Everyone press F in the replies.
So, Andyra resents her little brother Aloysius.
She doesn’t want to, but she sees her little brother growing up with both parents in his life and wishes she had the same thing. Circumstances being what they were, she was apart from her mother for some very important formative years, and as a result they never really meshed well, not helped by Yra’s general difficulty in opening up and lowering her walls with anyone.
And it’s not his fault that this is how things are. It’s not really anyone’s fault, not even Yra- if she’d had the choice, she would have been with her family.
Andyra does her best to get along with her little brother, but she doesn’t really interact with her family much and tends to stay in Neutral Space or the fringes of Imperial Space.
Aloysius, meanwhile, thinks his big sister is super cool. She’s a mercenary! That’s the COOLEST THING EVER! O:
Doodling Andyra being cute and wearing nice clothes.
She’s usually dressed a lot scrubbier because she usually works as like, a hired guard and shit.
She has her daddy’s eye colour~ :>
Timeline for Yracundia Kallig.
10 BTC Yracundia and Yniuria Atropa are born to Yrasci Atropa.
0 BTC/ATC Treaty of Coruscant is signed. Cold War begins.
4 ATC Yrasci Atropa dies in childbirth along with her son. Yra and Yn attempt to flee slavery, with only Yn succeeding.
10 ATC Yra is found to be force sensitive and is sent to Korriban for training as per Imperial Decree.
12 ATC end of the Cold War and the Galactic War begins again.
13 ATC Yracundia becomes pregnant, and sits out of the Conquest of Makeb. Late in the year she gives birth to her daughter, Andyra.
16 ATC The Zakuul Empire declares war against both the Sith Empire and the Republic. In the brutal three months before total victory for Zakuul, Yracundia is seperated from Andronikos and Andyra (3 years old). As per previous agreements, Andronikos goes into hiding.
23 ATC Zakuul is removed as a threat, and Yra is finally reunited with her family. Yra struggles to reconnect with her now 10-year-old daughter and Andronikos.
24 ATC Yra is unable to come to terms with her feelings of abandonment and the loss of 7 years of her daugher's life, and Andronikos leaves. Custody is shared between Yra and Andronikos, although she's quickly shown to be Force Sensitive and spends most of her time at the Korriban Academy.
27 ATC Yra and Andronikos meet again by chance late in the year, and temporaraly reconnect, but Yra is still unable to deal with her own issues and Andronikos leaves again.
28 ATC Early in the year Yra finds that she is once again pregnant. She informs Andyra- now 14 years old- that she is to be an older sister, but swears her to secrecy, as she doesn't want Andronikos coming back only because of a child. Andronikos eventually hears through the rumour mill that Darth Nox is expecting another child, and is at first hurt that she moved on so quickly, before realising with the timeline provided that it's most likely his child. Eventually the two reconcile, properly this time, and later in the year Yra gives birth to her son, Aloysius Kallig II.
31 ATC Andyra, 18 years old, finishes her training, declining to become a proper Sith, and instead goes into Neutral Space to lend her services as a guard-for-hire.
33 ATC Andyra is hired onto a freighter going into Wild Space, which is then attacked by pirates...
Considering how often it’s pointed out that the populace of purebloods is dwindling and small, I imagine that inbreeding is an issue amongst the pureblood Sith, and with Yra and Yn it’s an actual issue- they both suffer a genetic condition present in severe inbreeding, and in a stroke of irony it affects reproduction (keep in mind that their mother had difficulty with pregnancy and died in childbirth). It’s going to come up eventually in The Atropa Legacy but because I’m having a hard time writing it (the second chapter is fairly... bleak) I’ll just talk about it now.
Yra and Yn are twins, but they’re not identical twins, so the level at which they are affected by it is different. Yn gets off the worst, being rendered completely infertile, and her internal reproductive organs are not properly formed and generally cause problems centered around menstruation, making it infrequent and debilitating (I imagine she eventually just gets a hysterectomy done). It is its own kind of irony since she was considered the “better” candidate.
Yra, meanwhile, is capable of conceiving, as evidenced by the fact I mention she and Andronikos having a kid (Andyra), but has a difficult time with carrying to term (she realises, when she’s struggling to keep Andyra, that she’s most likely had several miscarriages in the past that she’d written off as heavy periods, which actually happens in real life). Basically she’s about as fucked up as her mother was, hooray! Nearly dies in childbirth, too, so she decides that one child is enough, thank-you-very-much (although she secretly wants a second).
As mentioned before: Yn adopts a bunch of cute orphans with Doc and is deliriously happy, meanwhile Yra’s relationship with her daughter is... strained. I accidentally made a message that just because you’re blood related doesn’t mean everything will be perfect lol whoops
A sketch I'm working on 0:
It's Andyra! Wee babbu generally doesn't use lightsabers or the force, preferring to use blasters, like her father, but she can use the talents inherited from her mother if push comes to shove (and usually she uses the force to push and shove lol).
Andyra is 100% not interested in sith politics, but she's also not really interested in being a pirate, either. Instead, she gets herself hired on as "the muscle" for smugglers, archaeologists, or anyone else who is not a force user. She tries to hide the fact that she's both imperial and has pureblood lineage, but it comes out from time-to-time. Very few find out she's a trained Sith.
She thinks the expressions on people's faces when they do find out is hilarious, though.
