So everyone on imp side is fine if they want to imbibe.

Flowers: Yniuria

Yniuria methodically went through her communications, carefully reading each line and deliberating what to say, for as a Jedi Master, her words could have unintended consequences if she were careless.

It was also mind-numbingly tedious and she would have welcomed any distraction from her task.

As if the universe was eager to please, there was a quick rap on her bedroom door before Doc, ship doctor and love of her life, came sailing in, a bag under one arm and flowers in the other.

Her brows went up slightly. “You’re in a good mood,” she observed, leaning against a hand.

He grinned at her, dropping the bag by the door. “It’s hard not to be when you leave a planet with people singing your praises,” he said. “I had at least 50 love letters.”

“Uh-huh.”

“Of course, as a doctor, it would be a massive breach of power to do anything but smile and nod.”

“Uh-huh.”

“And I suppose there’s the bit about me being married to the love of my life that stops me, too.”

Yniuria rolled her eyes, but she couldn’t help but smile. “What’s with the flowers, Doc?”

“Oh, these?” He said, brandishing the bouquet of multi-coloured blooms, artfully arranged to make the most of the various shapes and sizes of the different flowers. “Well, there was this nice little flower shop at the spaceport, and as I walked by this bouquet caught my eye, and I thought that I should buy them for the most beautiful person on the ship.”

She smiled patiently, waiting for the other shoe to drop.

“Of course, I felt it would be selfish to buy them for myself, so I decided to buy them for you, my darling, instead,” he finished, handing her the bouquet with a flourish.

She took the offered flowers, only barely stopping herself from rolling her eyes again, taking in the soft scent. “They’re lovely, Doc, thank-you.”

She looked around for a place to put them for the time being, until she was able to get a proper vase for them, settling to put them in a discarded glass. Standing, she said, “Let me just get some water — ”

Before she could even take one step, Doc pulled her into him and kissed her, wrapping his arms around her. “I missed you, beautiful,” he murmured against her lips before kissing her again.

Yn leaned into him, smiling as she returned his affections. “I missed you, too.”
