Join Me for whichever OC is your favourite!
Leave a “Join Me” in my ask, and I’ll write a drabble about one character giving another character an offer [be it a proposal for an alliance, asking them to join them in an activity (you can get dirty if you want), feel free to specify.]
Cables lie strewn across the floor, faint flickers of Designer magic running through them. She’d barely been able to get the door open, shoving aside a stack of them with her shoulder to squeeze into their apartment. Talya is nowhere to be seen, although a panel lies suspiciously open in the floor, faint thumps resonating through the metal.
What the hell is she working on? VAL asks, giving the mental impression of looking around with hands on hips. Get a contract to remodel the apartment in Designer punk or something?
I’ve no idea, she replies, walking over to the hole and shining her flashlight in. They’ve never actually bothered to clean under the floor, living in the basement, and so everything is caked in a layer of red dust. Talya’s face, streaked with the same rust, peers back, squinting in the light. “What are you doing?” she signs.
She gives an awkward half-shrug, indicating the torch and wires clutched in her hands. A spark leaps from one to the other, forming a brief arc and nearly burning her face off. Whatever she’s working on, it’s large, twin circles glowing blue visible underneath her feet.
