which one of your ocs would be the best cook, and which one would be a kitchen disaster?

this is super easy - ophelia is an amazing cook and ev is a disaster. ophelia grew up in an environment that was good for learning those sorts of things - plus, she's very much an "acts of service" person so she loves being able to do useful things for the people she loves. ev, unfortunately, copped a really bad lot growing up, and trying to experiment in the kitchen would have earned her a hard slap at best because the kitchen is for women and her mother would have killed her if she had come out as trans back then. she knows basic stuff (she can boil an egg, that sort of thing) but next to ophelia, she's a mess.

what kind of music would your ocs fall asleep and wake up to?

i think the quanticrew (ophelia, ev, adrí, max, ita, fish, etc) are the kind of people to have their motivational playlist* on while they work a case they're not supposed to be working until they crash in various shrimped-over positions with their laptops half-closed in their laps. they'd probably wake up to Fireball.

favourite accessory i own: i have this gold chain belt that's got three draping layers and one of them is circles featuring suns. i can't describe it for shit but i can try to find a photo.

any “paranormal” or unexplainable experiences: i've never had any, i don't think. my family is convinced i could see ghosts as a child, though. but some people i know have some magnus-institute-worthy stories!

dream room: i'm pretty sure i described this to lilith a while ago, so i won't go so technical this time. i want my bedroom to feel like you've walked into a woodland clearing with a swampy sort of lake and the distinct vibe of a place protected by mostly-benevolent witchcraft - all esoteric books and dried flowers and mossy green and rich burgundy and dim, warm lighting.

one outlook i have on life: regretting something you did is infinitely better than regretting something you didn't do. i've pretty much lived by the phrase "do something" from daniel handler since i was in middle school. when i die, i want to feel it all end and know that whenever i could, i did something. i don't believe in regrets. people say that hypothetical time travellers would have to be careful because changing anything would change everything, and i believe that. every split-second decision, every moment, has led me to where i am and i am happy, right here and right now, and i don't regret a thing. that means the good outweighs the bad. i'd do it all again. always, always do something. is it hopeless, or can you hope? is it over, or can you do something? grief is a part of life, but you have to remember when you are kneeling in the cemetery of your mind and staring at the headstone of what you've lost: this grave isn't yours. get up. do something.

would your ocs own an air fryer?

victoria and echo do. it's quick and easy and that's what they're all about, since they get pretty busy. erika does not own an air fryer, but she sure as shit uses tori and echo's.

the whole quanticrew basically have a communal air fryer. it was ophelia's, initially, but adrí and ita borrowed it and now it's public property. it's fine.

avery does not own an air fryer. it's not like she can exactly open a window for fresh air what with the toxins and all, so she prefers to go without the smell of sizzling batter. yuneita owns nothing at all.
