I've started and abandoned dozens of cookie wips :,) Despite my best efforts I am notorious for never finishing anything I start and I'm really not sure how to get over that critical flaw lol

Here's one of the ones I've officially stamped with the "I AM NEVER TOUCHING THIS AGAIN" seal of disapproval

I've also started and stopped working on a couple animatics for actual story scenes but, shocking nobody, I ended up abandoning those too

I saw a comment on a tiktok that Grace would be roughly 3 years old in Rocky's perspective. 😭😭😭

Yessss oh my gosh😭

Like the life expectancy of an Eridian is around 600 years old! So imagine being Rocky, you've been alone on Blip-a (you don't even call it that yet)for 46 (human, always human years) years, you're reaching middle age (291 years old) and suddenly, after you've basically given up hope you see another ship!

Now, cut to a few months later. You've basically moved in with this weird soft fleshy alien, but he's really smart and has been helping you understand what happened to your crew (helps you know that there was nothing you could do to fix it) and you two are working on saving both your respective suns!

Then, the topic finally comes up. Age.

You think Grace is surprised by your age because you're still technically young, at least younger than your crewmates had been!

Then you ask him.

"I'm 33."

You drop your tools, clicking your fingers together, surely he ment to say 333! Right?? Because there's NO WAY they sent a 3 year old in space!!!

But nope, you ask again and nope, you heard correctly.

Grace human is a pebble! A pebble who shouldn't even be leaving the cradling arms of his parents let alone be IN SPACE ALONE.

It all makes sense now!

Grace eats so messily because he's still learning! He sleeps all curled up because that's how pebbles sleep! He gets so grumpy and fussy because pebbles aren't quite in tune with their emotional regulation yet!!
