3♠️ - Does your muse ever let anyone see them cry?
Crying isn’t something I give myself the pleasure of doing often. I, personally, can’t afford to seem weak in front of the rest of my corps members … That sounds so stereotypical, I know. “Guys aren’t supposed to cry.” It’s a ridiculous idea. Ghoul. Human. Male. Female. Everyone feels emotion.Anyway, back to your question. The simple answer is yes. But I’m sure you’re wondering who…Chae saw me cry often when we first met. As much as I tried to push away the feelings of despondence, I was distraught over leaving my parents. It was a difficult time for me. One night, we were staying with Chae’s grandmother - sharing a dingy, cold back room together since Mama Chae (she demanded I call her this) stayed in a minuscule, one bedroom basement apartment. And I was so overcome … I was missing my mom and the way she would kiss my forehead before bed when I was a kid. It started as sniffles. I was trying to hide it from Chae but then his voice resounded in the darkness - “I don’t care if you need to cry, kid.”Then I lost it. I just … cried. Full and complete sobs wracking my body. I felt Chae’s hand rest on my shoulder as he muttered, “It’ll be okay.” After that I let Chae see me at my worst. I knew he wouldn’t judge me. He didn’t care. He didn’t see me as weak. He didn’t leave me when I was broken and that spoke volumes. The other person is Leith. He’s my roommate in a one bedroom apartment so … it’s inevitable. I don’t mind him seeing me cry, but usually he just hides in the bathroom to give me some privacy.
