Last night was absolutely amazing. Sure everyone around me in the crowd was 30-50 years older than me but I love these two actor/comedians since the early 80s. @stevemartintogo @martinshort put on the best performance much longer and different than the Netflix show to tell everyone they were on tour. I am so glad I was able to go. It was so much laughter my face hurt by the end. I wish I got some video but you couldn’t record but a couple pictures were just as great. I did but Steve Martin & his bands 3rd album and a DVD of the two doing another comedy special not on TV so I’m excited to hear & watch them. I am grateful to have seen them live and up close before they fully retire & quit touring. I gotta say as my first time at the @golden1center in Sacramento here (because of health & surgeries) they were amazing with ADA Accommodations. They had several entrances despite VIP or others you could go in. Then they let you to an elevator that even had an operator on a beautiful chair to help you where you needed to go. He loved my hair and remembered us several times using it by me with the hair & wheelchair. It also has as so kind of staff because our tickets were at the end they removed the chair so I could stay with my pillows in my wheelchair. That’s amazing service. We also being on the floor and handicapped had full access to the back stage lounge and restrooms and food service. I couldn’t have asked for what we got in Accommodations not expected the service and helpfulness of the staff. A+ (and I’ve experience F- over the past 6 years in and out of the wheelchair and this was the best I will be back and I hope I’ll be recovered by then but if not I know I am in great hands) Thank you Golden 1 for our amazing nice. It’s always great to have a reason to recover from a major surgery. I am absolutely excited I get to see some of my favorite actors on likely their last major tour ever (side note my parents first saw Steve Martin in Lake Tahoe in 1973 & are looking forward to seeing both this time). I am so happy they want to go & are helping me rehabilitate daily to where I can go. After everything I’ve been through the past year and 2 back surgeries 7 months apart, they bought me my ticket and theirs as a gift complimentary, plus a family night, but incentive to work towards my healing process where I’ll be almost 6 weeks post-op at the date of the event. It may only be a few hours and one night but I am so excited to see them both for a hilarious night of laughter and we have mid way from the stage floor seats which for the price is awesome. I watched their Netflix special which advertised their tour and it just so happened to pop up that in 5 weeks from when I saw it they would be here in #Sacramento . I thought long & hard finally with a long conversation deciding to go, but with help, reminding and extra work each day until then so that I can be ready enough to go & enjoy it since it’s been so long since I’ve gone to any event like this. I am looking forward to seeing these two Steve Martin @stevemartintogo and Martin Short @martinshort as as few of my top actors in their most comfortable element on stage doing comedy, together, they are always funny from the big screen to their comedy specials.
