“Dala, Dala! The little girl yelled as she toddled towards her grandmother, her three little buns bouncing with her wild step. Her father had dropped her on Naboo to spend time with her grandmother as he dealt with uprisings in other systems. She was happy to spend time alone with the older woman, not having to compete with her cousin Ben for affection.

“I picked you flowers!” The youngling held out the beautiful assortment of colored flowers out to her grandmother, a wide grin on her face, all her teeth exposed. She usually liked to wear pants and a vest with a muslin shirt, but for this trip she had asked her father to pack her some dresses as her grandmother wore and looked beyond regal in. Her light blue dress blew slightly in the cool breeze. She was so happy to be there, to be with someone she looked up to.
