Heacanon 29

Date Night

If anyone didn’t know, Ang is a romantic at heart and is always worried that one day one of them will fall out of love due the lack of time they have after the kids are born. This is why there are date nights.

Each one of them gets a night with someone during the week and they do things that are unrelated to sex in order to keep their bonds strong.

Ang and Troy’s date night is often cuddling while watching movies or going dancing. While Johnny is more graceful and frankly talented, Troy is the better dance partner because he will actually listen to Ang. He does the whole Prince at the ball shtick with Ang, which makes her beyond happy and always makes her feel pretty.

Troy and Johnny’s date night has them doing sports crap or being complete idiots and doing dangerous stuff that ends up with them needed to be bailed out at times. There’s also some hardcore fucking going on while they both have an adrenaline rush going on because that’s just how Johnny likes his dates. They don’t tell Ang because she’ll pout and say they are missing the point.

Ang and Johnny’s dates are strangely quiet. Anyone asks he’ll say Ang was the one who drug him to the art galleries or to the science museums or to anything that is not violence related. Johnny loves science shit and is actually a fan of art, which causes fights between the two of them because Ang insists modern art isn’t art, that’s just a goddamn pile of trash on the fucking floor!

End of the month, there’s the night the three of them go out all together. Sometimes two of them will gang up on the other, other times they all tease and love each other equally. 

Of course, they have their own date night with the girls that includes board games or video games or a movie. These night tend to be filled with yelling, laughing and if they are playing Monopoly death threats.

Headcanon 28

Unlike Evvie, Joce was completely planned for.

See Troy wasn’t really thrill with the whole kids thing, even less than Johnny was, mainly because his home life had been shit and his brother had a baker’s dozen worth of kids. He was worried deep down that he’d be a horrible father like his own and his siblings. 

Still, when Evvie came along, he slowly found himself falling in love with the role. He loved being there for her, loved reading bedtime stories, loved being the dad that she ran to when things needed to be fix (barbies and cars and stuff). He realized he loved being a dad.

He knew Ang wanted more kids even though she didn’t say anything and one night sat down with her and offered to get un-snipped if she ‘you know wanted to’. He didn’t want seem to eager or anything. After taking some ribbing from Johnny and some death glares from Ang, since if he had realized this shit sooner they wouldn’t have had such goddamn drama, he knocked up Ang with Joce. 

While he never regretted it, he doesn’t understand how it’s his biological kid that the right terror of the world while Johnny’s is the calm quiet one.

Headcanon 27

As mentioned before, Ang was a mistake and she was frequently reminded of that by her grandmother. Which is why it should come to no surprise that she wanted to plan her children.

Unfortunately she didn’t get a chance to, unlike with the RPs, Evvie was an unplanned child. Ang had mistakingly thought that Johnny had been fixed like he was in the old timeline while Johnny assumed that she couldn’t have kids again. And few weeks into their new relationship, she got knocked up.

This would have been fine with her, if it wasn’t for the fact that Johnny decided to spring a triad on her without prior warning. Because he cared for the two of them and Ang still cared whether or not she wanted to talk about it.

Ang took some thing the wrong way and that’s how Evvie almost had a single mother and Joce almost didn’t get born.

Headcanon 26

Motherly instinct 

When Ang was young, children were the furthest thing from her mind. She was angry at the world and her family all the time and the idea of spawning more family was disturbing and horrible at the same time.

That is until she wasn’t able to have kids. Then she realized that she was going to be the last person in her family. She’d never have anyone to share stories with, little people that cared about her the way she had once cared about her mother but this time she’d be able to show it. But she didn’t get that.

Instead she made the gang her children. She made sure they were provided for, every Saint had a chance for education, health services, hell she even made sure they had access to daycare.

Ang made sure people were taken care of but she still distanced herself from them. Not wanting to get attached to them because they would leave far too soon like everyone did. She had it in her mind that at least children of her own would want to stay with her for a while.

Headcanon 25

When Ang woke up from the coma, she was angry. Angry at all the betrayals, angry that the city had to be retaken over, angry that her favorite show had been canceled but most of all she was angry that she didn’t have control over her body like she use to.

Having been in the coma for five long years, her mind refused to acknowledge it had been out of order all that time while her body was like ‘yeah i’m kinda rusty here’.

Her body weaker and not as nimble as it use to be made her turn to drinking because she didn’t know what else to do. When she would dance, she would end up tripping over her own feet. It was really too much for her.

It was Aisha that saved the day. She pressured Ang into trying pole dancing to get her back to her normal way. Ang found that she did enjoy it greatly. It was a new dance and one she couldn’t yell at herself for failing because she never learned it before.

Headcanon 24

Much to her grandmother’s horror, Ang has almost always been a metal head. She loves music with deep bass to it, she loves feeling it down to her bones and she did a lot of her ballet to it. Fast and heavy are her favorite types. 

When dubstep became a thing, she fell in love with that too, especially because of the amazing dancings she came up with it. She loves the wub.

Headcanon 23

Ang loves what she calls “flame colors”, reds, blues, oranges, yellows and whites. She loves wearing those. Most of her clothes are a rainbow of those shades. 

Which is why she gets really fucking pissed off that every goddamn gang that tries to muscle in wears those colors. Like pick a different color. Why don’t you motherfuckers muscle in wearing some pink or poka dot?

One time a gang tried to fight the Saints wearing teal as their color.

Ang made it her personal mission to stab every single one of them.

Do not fuck with her colors.

Headcanon 22

((Note: Sorry for the headcanon spam today, I just wanted to get it up to today’s))

When was Ang born exactly? I know that’s a question a lot of people wonder, especially if they read the fic. Well in celebration of my birthday, I have set her birthday:

July 4!

That’s right, Ang is a fireworks baby. 

Back when Ang was being delivered, her mother kept looking at the clock the whole time, praying to anyone that would listen that her kid would be born already. She didn’t want her kid born on this damn holiday for one reason only.

Benedict’s jokes.

Yes, just like Gat, Benedict had the worst Dad joke’s and sure enough, Ang slipped out ten minutes before midnight. He smiled with a great big smile and was about to lay out a pun of some sort but before he could open his mouth Divya punched him.

And that’s how Ang came into the world with a bang.
