My 41 year old mother repeatedly rewatches delicious in dungeon. This woman is so autistic it makes me giggle because she was apprently so obsessed with the twilight books and then the movies when they came out, that my father and grandmother had an intervention for her about how her fixation was too much and they were worried about her. She was 20 years old then. She does this frequently, becoming absolutely infatuated with one very specific thing and deciding to base her entire life around it. When it was twilight she wanted to become an author, then greys anatomy and she wanted to be a surgeon. Right now she is repeatedly re-watching House Md. A couple years ago she would get drunk every night and watch the frozen movies and sing along to them at the top of her lungs. When I was 14 I began to realise i was autistic and from my realisation sprung hers. We have an anime series we do a yearly binge on named Mushi shi we've been doing this since I was around 10. I'm 20 now and I'm older than she was when she got married. I'm older than she was when she flew to korea to spend time with my dad who had been stationed there. I'm older than my dad was when the army he had been pressured to join caused him lifelong pain in his shoulder and a far away look in his eyes some nights. I don't know what life was like before I was born. I don't remember the destruction hurricane Katrina brought down onto my impoverished little mississippi town when I was just a baby. But I can imagine that if i had been born when my parents had been, that they probably would've been my friends.
