Hello everyone. As you may have noticed, ANG has been a bit slow lately. We admins recognise that this is partly our fault. We haven’t been very active recently and we thought we could keep things running until everything got better but as it turns out, we can’t. That is why, after some consideration, we have decided to shut down the main blog. This blog will still be open to receive questions and answer anything you guys send in, we just won’t be doing any other stuff like tasks, events, posting bios or accepting apps. 

However, and because we don’t want any of you to feel like you have to leave this group -- we know how important ANG is for everyone --, we decided that you can continue to roleplay with each other. Everything can continue as before, same plots, whatever you want to do. There just won’t be a main blog overseeing that anymore.

We’re truly sorry things turned out this way. We had hoped we could stick it out and maintain this place running, but everything just got to being too much. We hope you guys understand. As we said before, the main will still be open to receive your questions and anything you want to talk to us about. We have loved every second we’ve spent running and writing with this group, and we hope you keep on doing it the same brilliant way you’ve been doing all this time.

Hello everyone! First of all, the admin would like to apologise for the extreme lack of activity on the main these last few weeks, but real life is a real drag sometimes and we’ve all been busy with school and personal stuff. That being said, we’re back now and hopefully the activity both on the main and on our own characters should get back to normal soon. 

Now, we just wanted to warn our members that in 24 hours we will post an activity check, mostly because it’s been way too long and some of our characters have been quite inactive. We ask you to either message the main saying you’re still a part of the roleplay or post some sort of activity on the dash (pictures, music tracks, and any other queued items do not count as activity). If you don’t, we’ll include your character in the activity check.

We felt like we should post this warning considering the activity has been pretty low recently in the RP in general, so some of you may not have had the chance to interact that much, thus the lack of activity. 

Again, we apologise for our own disappearing act, but we’re back and ready to change that now! Have a good day, afternoon or night and don’t forget to let us know if you’re still part of ANG.

The event is now over! Thank you to all the muns who made it amazing as always. You can keep up your interactions from the event if you have something you wanna see through, but please keep those to a minimum and essential (i.e. if you haven’t revealed your secret santa and are in the process of doing so or if it’s a plot you planned with someone else that you haven’t had the opportunity to finish). The event is now over.

The doors to the Great Hall have been reopened and the Heads of House and prefects are directing everyone to their dorms. Everyone’s been instructed to never walk alone for the next few weeks and curfew has been strictly reinforced. To the muns, you’re welcome to continue the threads you have going on right now, just as long as you wrap them up soon. Thank you for making this event so great and remember: stay safe.

There’s been an attack.

Earlier tonight, Tessa Fray, seventh year Slytherin student, was attacked on top of the Astronomy Tower. She’s been knocked unconscious by her attacker. The perpetrator of this attack appears to be the same one responsible for the previous attacks taken place inside campus.

For security reasons, and to make it easier to account for everyone, the Great Hall has been locked down until further notice. All students and staff must remain inside the Great Hall. Please try to remain calm and don’t panic. There’s no information as to when the doors will be reopened, so it’s advised that everyone make themselves comfortable in the event of having to spent the night. Any further question, direct yourselves to your year’s prefect or your house’s Head Boy/Girl or Head of House.

The event has now begun! All the characters who are attending the ball should now be heading or already in the Great Hall, where flying jack o’lanterns hang over their heads and the magical roof is reproducing a thunderstorm. 

We advise everyone to either drop or draft their current interactions and focus solely on the event. Gif chats and paras are encouraged, and remember that this is a great opportunity to interact with characters you don’t usually interact with or have never had a chance to plot with yet. Have fun!
