From the Ground Up | Tristan & Angel
To say he was nervous would be an understatement. Having dinner with Angel wasn’t something he planned, but trying to get along with the other male was needed. Tristan knew that in order for him to regain a fraction of normalcy he once had, it was time to leave the past in the past. At least that’s what he told himself -- he still wasn’t sure if he could do it. He wanted to think that they could get to a point where he didn’t get torn to pieces just being around Angel. If Tristan had learned anything since he was twenty-two, the more he pushed himself out of his comfort zone the better as weird as that sounded. “You can do this, Daniels.” He muttered, standing outside of Angel’s door considering on knocking.
He didn’t even understand why it bothered him so much, it was just dinner. Between two people who were once best friends at a point in their lives. Tristan would be lying if he didn’t say he missed talking to Angel -- someone who always gave him the advice he seemed to need at that point in his life. Unlike other times, Tristan was in a decent mood which would transition over to whatever meal they were going to be having. It was time to rebuild what had been destroyed all those years ago, he was done fighting it. His left hand came up and knocked on the door in front of him. @angclflorist
