I really like your cmvs do you have any advice on making them?

Uh, that’s a pretty hard question, Nonners. CMVs are different for everyone and you grow from what you’ve made in the past.

For example, here’s a CMV Kayla and I did when we were, what, sixteen?

That was the first CMV we ever made and it shows in a lot of different places. That’s not to say people still can’t enjoy it.

Now compare it to our newest CMV:

There are clear signs to show our growth, now at the age of twenty one.

And to show even more differences with the videos above edited and directed by me compared to a video edited and directed by Kayla:

Clear differences in style and feeling. And then a video edited by Kayla but directed by Keara and:

Bam. Still so many differences.

So, I guess my only advice is to start filming and editing and find what you like and works for you because no two people have the same creative process.

so first, i love the cosplays that you guys put together, your videos are so cute! second, just had a question i've checked out all your tumblrs (btw you guys seem like awesome ppl) and i was just wondering who your original jane was? the one in all the old asks and stuff, and who was your latula too i think? you can totally ignore this, but i was just curious, didn't see her on the list of members. you guys are great!

Our original Jane, who was also Latula, is Lo! She’s not on the list because she isn’t really into cosplay right now. She might make a return sometime later though!

Although, to clear the air of things I might just add who cosplays as who on the list. Maybe only list off characters that we have done and that you guys have seen so far.

To all you Larry believers I thought I would share some information that could make you fucking swoon.

So we all know those two swallows on dear Harry's chest right? How one of them looks like a certain other person?

Weeeeeelllllll, turns out there's this age old Indian fairy tale about a Queen who asks her husband to bring her sister over to the castle for a visit. The King agreed to it and got the sister. However, in the middle of the trip he decided to rape her and realized he didn't want her telling anyone what he did so he cut out her tongue and locked her in a tower. She then spent her time in the tower sewing a blanket that told the story of what happened to her and sent the blanket to her sister. The Queen got the blanket and ran to her sister. The guards unfortunately followed after her and when she got to the tower the guards were downstairs so the only way they could get away was to jump out the window. Once they jumped they turned into birds.

The thing is the birds represent their freedom and that they broke away from the life of confinement they were forced to live before. They were allowed to live and be free, even though the sister with her tongue cut out still had problems with singing as a bird (aka speaking freely for being scarred by her past), they were able to do whatever they wanted.

The catch? The Queen, the one who was always free, turned into a nightingale.

The sister who was locked away and lost her ability to speak and defend herself turned into a swallow.
